SUMMER 2017:

In Media, PA, Creative Pavers is set to work on an extensive multi-tiered patio project.  Some of the challenges include a 6′ height difference between the back door and the existing ground backing up to a heavily wooded lot, where minimal disturbance to the surrounding trees is a must.  A multi-tiered design will give the owners several areas of functional space.

In Wilmington, DE, Creative Pavers just completed a rehabilitation of an older hardscape project installed by another company years ago that included cleaning and sealing the existing surfaces, installing a new border with proper edge restraint, and adding some accent circles and walkways. We were able to “reuse” some existing pavers to mix in with the newer areas to eliminate the color difference between the “new pavers” and the “decade old pavers”.

In Woolwich, NJ, Creative Pavers will begin work on another patio in a 55+ Active Adult community. It will be the 6th patio installed to date in the same community. Familiarity with the Homeowner’s Association approval process as well as the quality of neighboring completed projects makes us a good choice for a new homeowner to expand their living space to the outdoors.

In Villanova, PA, Creative Pavers is set to work with an upscale builder on an enclosed natural stone patio. It is part of an overall expansion of the client’s home that will includes a new garage, mudroom, and sunroom along with the covered patio. Paver Walkways will connect the patio to the other back doors and driveway.

In Williamstown, NJ, Creative Pavers will work on a Raised Paver Patio. In order to reach the total height of 24″ desired by the homeowner, Creative Pavers needed to build a support wall along the house foundation. This was necessary to retain the 38 tons of modified stone fill required to raise up the paver surface. This support wall, in addition to the 3 other perimeter walls, essentially created a “free-standing” patio that met up to the house, thus eliminating any pressure to the house foundation and siding. Proper building methods like this are rarely seen in the final product, but the importance cannot be stressed enough for protection of the home’s foundation.

In West Deptford, NJ, a Commercial Building hired Creative Pavers to install another section of new Concrete Aprons and Curbs for their facility. Construction specifications for the flatwork require a 6″ DGA base followed by a 6″ thick 4000 psi Concrete for the Aprons. Concrete Curbs will finish and tie into the Aprons along the front of the building.

In Voorhees, NJ, Creative Pavers just began work for a new home being built that backs up to a lake.  This extensive project will have it all; a 3500 sqft travertine and bluestone backyard multi-tiered living space with a Inifinity Edge Pool, Retaining Walls exceeding 8′ in height, a Pool House complete with a bathroom and outdoor shower, multiple Kitchen and Bar areas, and various Fire Features with a Secluded Lounging Area. Throughout the rest of the property there will be Walkways and Seating Areas to enjoy the garden like setting and a large Circle Driveway with Brick Accents and Stone Entrance Columns will complete the stately look of the home.  Included are Fully Automated Lighting and Electrical Controls complete with Wireless Remotes along with over 300 Plants, Trees, and Shrubs brought in to engulf the entire property in total privacy.

In Newark, DE, Creative Pavers is set to start an extensive backyard hardscape project. With over 1,800 sqft of old concrete walkways, patio, and pool surround, the owner decided it was time for an upgrade. Creative Pavers will remove it all and create new Paver Walkways, a Paver Patio with Seating/Retaining Walls, Paver Pool Surround and new Landscape Beds. This project is scheduled to take 4 weeks to complete.

In Glen Mills, PA, Creative Pavers has been hired to re-construct and existing paver pool surround. The Owners had another company install 1,100 sqft of interlocking pavers a little over a year ago and already the project is showing problems with settling, shifting edge restraints, puddling, and more. A complete rip up of existing pavers and the underlying stone base must be executed to ensure 95% compaction density of the new stone base. Creative Pavers is happy to help the owners so that they end up having a long lasting pool surround.

In Hamilton, NJ, Creative Pavers is in the middle of an extensive backyard project.  Details for this transformation include multiple outdoor kitchens and bar seating areas, a 14′ wide stone fireplace with sitting area, a series of decks and landings that tie into over 6,000 sqft of travertine and natural bluestone set around a pool and patio space.  Creative Pavers will finish up this outdoor space with a fully automated irrigation system to manage the 400+ new plantings and half acre of new sod that we will install to complete the project.

In Wallingford, PA, Creative Pavers is scheduled to start work on a multi-level outdoor living space consisting of a composite deck that will wrap around the back of the home before leading down to different levels of bluestone to make room for a firepit, lounge chairs, and grilling area.  A 4’ high natural boulder wall will retain the hardscape and allow for ample plantings to encapsulate the area.

In Media, PA, Creative Pavers is set to begin a driveway rehabilitation and expansion project. The existing 2,000 sqft asphalt driveway will have a new topcoat applied after installing a new base coat within the broken areas. In addition, the 20′ apron will be constructed using Brickstone Pavers and an additional 500 sqft extension will be built at the top of the driveway to allow for overflow parking when entertaining guests.

In Sewell, NJ, Creative Pavers is working on a series of walkways throughout a backyard that will connect the existing patio, driveway, side door, shed, and pond all while keeping the half-acre garden bedding areas intact. This is the 4th time that the same client has hired Creative Pavers within the past 7 years to expand on their ever-growing personal backyard get-a-way.mm
